Lafourche Parish Schools will offer virtual instruction on a limited basis for the 2021-22 school year. Even though students are currently enrolled in virtual instruction, they must submit an application for the upcoming school year, which will open on Thursday, April 22 and will close on Friday, May 28. Students applying for virtual instruction must have a valid medical excuse with a doctor’s signature that specifically recommends virtual learning. The district will also consider the students previous academic progress and attendance as part of the application process. If parents are not able to access the online application or need assistance, they can contact or visit their child’s school.
Parents will be notified of their child’s placement no later than June 30, 2021.
